ADDITIONAL CLASSES
ACRO:
Taught by a qualified gym instructor, classes are divided by age and ability levels. Students are taught a combination of gym/acro moves including cartwheels, hand and head stands, bridges and aerials, and dance moves to connect movements to form a routine.
Students are required to wear a bodysuit with either gymnastic slippers or bare feet to class. Foot thongs are also allowed. Please be sure to also wear hair tied back in a ponytail.
HIP HOP:
The class for the pre-teen and teenage recreational student looking for fun with their friends to current dance styles! Students are free to wear whatever makes them feel funky! but must have a pair of indoor running shoes for class. NO outdoor shoes please.
Teachers do their best to search for hip hop music appropriate for age levels and make every effort to stay away from music using profanity.
Classes fill fast so be sure to register early!!
MUSICAL THEATRE:
For the actor and actresses in your family! Children will learn characterization and monologue exercises as well as have an opportunity to work with other students who enjoy being creative and imaginative! Mini skits and performances are worked on throughout the season culminating their work into a piece to be performed in the year end recital. Most costumes are searched out by the students and no costume deposits are usually necessary.
Students are grouped into Junior and Intermediate age Divisions but may at times be combined for larger productions.
ADULT CLASSES:
Put your dancing shoes on ladies and bring your gents along too! Adult Tap has been our biggest hit over the years and we offer classes at the beginner and advanced levels.
Adult Hip Hop has also been a growing trend where you will be bound to have a lot of fun along with a good workout!
