TAP AND JAZZ PROGRAMS : (ages 5 – 18)
Our tap and jazz programs are founded by Mr. Brian Foley who designed the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (A.D.A.P.T.) . This program was introduced as a teaching guideline to ensure quality training at the proper age and ability level of students.
Exam opportunities are available to all students where they are given a mark and assessment for their efforts along with a certificate of achievement. At no time are students held back if they do not participate. Allowing your children to participate will encourage increased self-esteem for their efforts and will also give you an out of studio assessment as to your childs progress. Children will be place in the appropriate class according to age and ability level as described to the school director or manager.
Lyrical classes are available to the students who have reached the Junior 3 Jazz level and also participate in Ballet.
Teacher assisting and training programs are also offered for those students interested in pursuing a teaching career. At age 18 students may begin a three year intensive program held by the A.D.A.P.T. Directors to attain accreditation.
