CREATIVE MOVEMENT: (ages 3 & 4 yr.)

An introduction to dance beginning with elemental ballet movements for children ages three and four. Each class is 45 minutes in length and works to teach children co-ordinated and rhythmic movement as well as free style interpretive expression. All ballet teachers within the studio follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, and beginning ballet classes work toward introducing students to a more formal disicipline of ballet as they work toward the Pre-Primary and Primary levels at ages 5 and 6. A pianist accompanies all ballet classes to help enhance their musicality.

Dress Code for this class is a pink tank cotton bodysuit with either ankle socks or tights. Leather full sole ballet slippers are required. All dance supplies are available from Sequins Plus in Oshawa.
